About 2015 Nissan Frontier As the popular Nissan Frontier enters 2015, it continues to be a leader in the midsize truck segment -- combining premium hardware, extraordinary power and an exceptional level of on- and off-road performance. It also continues to offer an extremely wide range of available body and bed styles, drive configurations and powerplants. The 2015 Nissan Frontier is offered in King Cab and Crew Cab body styles, two bed lengths and in 4x2 and 4x4 driveline configurations, along with five trim grades: Frontier S (4-cylinder and V6), SV, PRO-4X, Desert Runner and SL (Crew Cab only). Two engines are available: a powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine rated at 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque or a fuel-efficient 152-horsepower, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine (4x2 King Cab only). The midsize Frontier emulates many of the full-size Nissan Titan's features, including its bold, expressive and adventurous exterior styling. The Frontier exterior styling embodies a number of signature Nissan truck themes -- an angled strut grille, large bumpers, short front and rear overhangs and large, stamped-steel geometric fender flares. The Utili-track system provides ultimate cargo hauling flexibility through the use of five special "C" cross-section rails mounted in the bed (two channels in the bed floor and one each on the bed side rails and the bed header panel). Removable utility cleats slide into the channels, providing a wide range of attaching points for securing cargo. The heart and soul of the Frontier is its rugged F-Alpha platform. Starting with a full-size, fully boxed ladder frame, the F-Alpha platform provides a rugged foundation on which to build. Constructed of high tensile-strength steel, the platform provides structural rigidity for rock-solid performance on- and off-road.
