The 328 GTS is the direct evolution of the original 308-series, that started the legendary line of mid-engine Ferrari V8 model that defined Ferrari sports cars for nearly 50 years. The 328 improved on all aspects of the 308 series, with a more powerful 3.2 litre V8 engine, reliable Bosch fuel injection, a more comfortable and modern interior, and integrated front and rear bumpers. It retains all of the charm and analog driving experience of the 308, and has a reputation for incredible reliability. The 1989 model year marked the final production of this series and the last of the alloy space-frame V8's, a design shared with the Dino and 365/512BB series. The 1989 is notable for its incorporation of Bosch ABS braking system, for the first time in a Ferrari, as well as a variety of minor design details unique to the 1989 production year (i.e. Cavallino badges on side mirrors).328's were made to be driven, and it's not unusual to see examples with 100k+ miles on them.
