Sales of SUVs are white hot so Nissan isn’t going to rest on its laurels when it comes to refreshing the 2017 Pathfinder. As a matter of fact, Nissan calls it a major redesign of the 4th generation model which was introduced in 2013 – moving away from its rugged sport-ute ways to a more family friendly crossover. It starts with an updated appearance including the new “V-Motion” grille with LED headlights now standard on Platinum grade. Additionally, aerodynamic optimization efforts have reduced the Pathfinder’s coefficient of drag without compromising the approach angle for off-road driving. Another significant addition for 2017 is the available Motion-Activated liftgate.
