Complementing the V6 is a performance-oriented Xtronic transmission featuring a wide ratio range, which allows for strong acceleration from a standing start and a D-Step shifting logic that provides rapid shifts at high throttle openings. The 2017 Maxima also offers Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control, Forward Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Blind Spot Warning.
