This is the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon and it’s a car that’s so fast it’s been banned from NHRA drag racing unless owners make significant safety modifications. Dodge is claiming a number of production car firsts, including wheelies, the use of 100+ octane gas, and front passenger seat delete. They’re calling the Demon the world’s fastest 0-to-60mph production car at 2.3 seconds, also turning in the fastest quarter mile with an elapsed time of 9.65 seconds at 140 mph.
