Volvo sold less than 10,000 traditional cars in the U.S. last year as the XC60 and XC90 SUVs do the heavy lifting for the Scandinavian automaker. And those two cars – the S60 and S90 – like all of Volvo’s 2023 lineup no longer come without some sort of electrification. That may mean a mild-hybrid, a plug-in hybrid like this one, or an all-electric. Last year Volvo upgraded the Recharge T8’s powertrain to include a new long-range battery and a more powerful electric motor at the rear.
