As the brand’s best-selling vehicle not named Silverado, the success of this all-new 2018 Equinox is crucial. But that doesn’t mean its creators kept things status quo. This Equinox introduces 3 new turbocharged engines, an available 9-speed automatic transmission and a more compact platform that more efficiently utilizes space. Significantly shorter in length, the new Equinox is more easily maneuverable yet manages to offer similar cargo space as the outgoing model while maintaining its rear seat legroom. A new design for the split-fold rear seats helps to create a flatter floor for easier loading.
